I regularly keep getting requests for
fishing from many and its perfectly natural to be unhappy for
those of who did'nt get my fishy
attention 
let me make it very clear that the Lion's
decision of whom to take along fishing is strongly influenced by the person's
age , his fitness level , his fishing
craze and above all his jolly nature ! I
have politely dodged fishing requests
from retired senior guys who had
multiple heart surgeries and other complications . a few months back a 13 years old child called me two times wanting to join me fishing and every time I
asked him to let his parents or guardians speak to me , which he failed to do
so !! ( twice ) and so he was very sweetly refused,
let me make it very clear that the Lion's

Any child is as dear to me as my own 13 year old
son and if I don't take my son fishing
because its very risky & dangerous
on the slippery rocks , the same concern
applies to someone 's child too
!!
The lucky angler chosen to learn fishing
for the month of March was Parag shinde since time was limited so we went only for a day to Murud Janjira
stayed at a beach side hotel , the sea was not at her beautiful best ! It looked
as if the sea floor was being churned up
but I had the task to teach this
enthusiastic new Angler , all the
details of casting and bait fishing and even in the murky conditions he was lucky enough to land his first
Saltwater fish " A Grouper "
since time was limited so we went only for a day to Murud Janjira

Well

he doesn't know that this one fish
hooked him for Life and made him an angler !!

An angler friend of mine for quite
sometime has been longing to go
fishing with me but our dates were not
matching so It was decided two months prior to go fishing at a particular Date
in March and as the fishy date drew closer the poor guys grandpa became sick and
was admitted in hospital , so his trip naturally was cancelled , but not mine !! 
time to put plan B in action !!

I
informed the next friend who was in the
waiting list and he is heavily stressed out and wants to go out with me for a
couple of days , only to relax more &
fish less ,
It’s the same old story ! 
we leave at night ……….. Reach in
the morning, check in at a known hotel
, the tide is out so we catch up
with some sleep and go casting in the
late evening then do some bait fishing
till midnight , I get a nice Bream and a Dory Snapper ,
the next morning day-2 : we cast some spells of Rapala , the scorching sun forces my fishy friend to seek shelter under the shade of a big rock and very soon he is busy casting lures in his dreams , I bag a decent Mangrove Jack and two
trevallies on lure , one more bigger
Trevally attacks my lure as it landed on the water and runs away with it

In the evening we decide to head to local market as our wives had given us a list of items to
buy such as Kokams and all other stuff which helps make our konkani food Delicious and lip smacking

I say with enough patience and determination even an average person can easily conquer the peaks and valleys of
life
Discovered a small lesser known Hotel which dishes out Mouthwatering food , here is a KingFish curry + Fry King fish , rice chapati (Bhakri) , Sol kadi and Sukkat chutney
he is de-stressing under a Rock by the Sea and also luring the Mermaids with his rubber shad ! of-course in his Dreams

With five Fish to my credit in two sessions
of fishing , I am a content man and even my friend with no catch is happy ,
refreshed and de-stressed time to
head back home and split the catch
