It had been almost a year since our group of knotty Boys had last met and so we decided that it was about time to come together for two days to have a lot of fun , masti and to shake our rods
Christopher had not done any fishing for a year and he was so
desperate that he could have fished from a bucket LOL (figure of
speech)
Christopher was coming from Bangalore covering 1000+kms by road and Junaid was to join him from Belgaum & of course our Jaani dost Omesh will be coming from pune and Myself from Mumbai
I know some guys must be wondering why on earth these guys are coming from so far such as Bangalore when they can go to Goa and fish = FRIENDSHIP is the magical word that has tied us all together with a very thin but strong Fishing line
As the saying goes:
The road to a friends house is never long
There is no distance too far between friends, for friendship gives wings to the heart.
Three of us reached the meeting point except for Junaid who had to stay back as his company had called him at the last moment for an important meeting , we all were delighted to see each other after a long time and we chatted & chatted for hours ( 3am ) and slept only 3hours to wake up again at 6am and go fishing
Now if you remember the pic of my last post someone watching me from the trees ?? Yup
the same bloody monkey must have tipped the waterworld about the lion's gang marching to the shore 
ha ha haa At the sound of my name, fish tremble ! All the big ones just ran for their lives in the the deeper waters very far from the shores, leaving behind only their young ones and that was a very cowardly and selfish act on their part . Maybe they did not know that the lion had temporarily changed his fishy settings to a Catch & Release mode
yes ! That’s True !! You got to believe me guys ! Had no other options 
as I was now constantly under watch 
by a hawkeyed , sharp scissor wielding newly appointed mod of IA so all that was caught was left behind we came home empty handed 
This trip was also special because we celebrated Omesh Moorjaani's Birthday ! as he was to leave for pune in the morning of his birthday
and Chris & I sneaked a cake in to the room at night and waited eagerly for the clock to strike 12 so we could wish the Birthday Boy 
And it was a surprise for him , Jaani got assorted gifts on the occasion, a couple of lures and many many Birthday Bumps 
And we all returned with lots of sweet memories promising to be back as and when Time & Tide allows us
