Grandpa lost the Barra
Two months back lion became a proud grandpa
, since then have been very very busy changing the nappies , and singing lullabies, I was repeating it after more than a decade and I loved every bit of it my Grandson seem to enjoy my fishy tales
Perhaps He is thinking & designing a new lure for grandpa
Two pending electricity bills finally forced me out towards my beach house in murud , the bill was paid on the same day itself and now was the time to shake that stubborn itch off my rod
As I stood there in a state of shock shaking my head I called out loudly " Verily O MY LORD there is Wisdom in All Your Actions and Only thou alone art the Giver and Taker of Life for all creatures big and small , thou has chosen it to LIVE , so Please free it from my dreadful lure and keep it happy and safe from the nets " - Ameen
I did not feel like fishing for the rest of the day and just wanted to savor those magical moments , after lunch my stubborn curiosity forced me to wait there till 4.30pm and investigate the place and to find out how & where he got lucky , at low tide the secret of the barra's escape route was finally revealed. series of rocks jutting out of the water forming a semicircle and at high tide they don't give a damn clue of their sinister presence
Extreme right picture of the spot where I played the Barra (see the rocks jutting out )
the middle picture of the spot
the extreme left view of the same spot Guys this was the biggest Barra that I have hooked till date
{remember the new car advertisement on tv ?? } I think I too can now say that it was not a Barra but it was a Baaaaaaaaarra
{ I know of one crazy angler from pune -a former state level swimmer who would have definately jumped in to the water to catch the fleeing barra if he was there with me that day
@ Merwyn I know what you are thinking !!
After two day's gap went fish again to another spot for a few hours of bait fishing and hooked this big fat Blubberlip Snapper enough to fill my icebox
I love to hook fat ones
here is a pic taken in my friend Dr Aamir's style
the friendly cows are waiting to watch the lion in action
The bulls are not a bit worried if their cows get too close to the lion
you see in Murud everyone Loves the lion's Company
